Perley was born in Bangor, Maine and attended Bangor High School. From high school Perley served in the U.S. Navy as
an aircraft structures mechanic.
Perley currently lives in his home of 23 years in Teaneck.
His long term career in the automotive and truck parts business followed his service.
Perley’s experiences include management, purchasing, sales, training and developing procedures.
In a break from the automotive business, Perley owned and managed apartment buildings.
Perley moved to New Jersey and Bergen County when a job opportunity was offered. While training here he met his wife of 33 years Carla.
Perley is a Teaneck county committee member; this led him to seek the open assembly seat. Perley identifies with his constituents through his experiences as an apartment dweller, owning apartment buildings and as a homeowner.
Perley believes in small government, The Bill of Rights and states’ rights.
As an assembly member, he will be available to the people of District 37 responding to all inquiries and bringing their concerns to the state assembly.
